David is a highly experienced Physiotherapist gaining his Masters qualification (UniSyd) after completing an undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology. He launched Move Physiotherapy (now move physio pilates) in 2013 after more than 10 years working across both elite sport and workplace injury prevention.
Not solely a practitioner, David also has a role in educating the next generation of Physiotherapists as a facilitator within the industry-renowned Dr LJ Lee's ConnectTherapy Model. He is committed to using the most up-to-date and effective treatment methods in his practice.
Physiotherapist & Exercise Physiologist
Patrick has completed his Masters of Physiotherapy (UniSyd), as well as a degree in Exercise Physiology (UWS). Excelling in both areas of clinical practice has seen him develop a special interest in biomechanics and assessing and treating dysfunctional movement patterns.
Patrick has worked with elite football teams such as the Sydney Roosters, as well as the Sydney Convicts Rugby Union Club. With a passion for sports, he's also been involved in junior development programs across a broad cross-section of disciplines, including athletics and soccer.
Practice Manager & Pilates Instructor
An Olympic Water Polo Medallist, Amy comes from a background of health science and business, with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (UniQld) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBAexec, UNSW). She is also a pilates instructor and devotee and is particularly excited about all that the practice has to offer for new mums.
Pilates & Yoga Instructor
Alison is a certified Yoga and Pilates teacher. She is known for her dynamic style of teaching, and through her creative sequencing, clear cues and personal encouragement, students are able to move deeper into their body with greater awareness.
Pilates & Yoga Instructor
Robynne is a STOTT certified Pilates instructor and has been teaching Pilates for four years. Her classes are both technical and flowing, with an emphasis on developing proper movement patterns by moving with mindfulness, precision and control.
Kate has an extensive background as a ballet and contemporary dancer, which has formed the foundation of her love for practicing and teaching pilates. She has 12 years of teaching experience and her approach is very functional and targeted, with an emphasis on technique and correct movement patterns to strengthen and stabilise the body… as well as having a fun experience in the studio!
Jess is a huge part of our Physio team and has completed studies in Medical Science (UniSyd), as well as Health Science and a Masters in Physiotherapy (UWS). She has a broad range of experience in both injury treatment, prevention and rehabilitation across both private practice and onsite industrial settings in Northern and Western Sydney. Over this time, Jess has developed a keen interest in the rehabilitation of postural and occupational injuries, particularly those relating to the shoulder and neck.
Roy is a qualified Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist. Working both as a Personal Trainer and Exercise Physiologist, Roy is experienced in delivering exercise interventions across a wide spectrum of chronic conditions and also workplace injury prevention. He is a strong advocate for the use of exercise as medicine and enjoys passing on his knowledge to further better the lives of his clients. Roy also has a strong passion for football and enjoys learning new ways to promote performance and prevent injury.
Akina is one of the friendly faces to greet you as soon as you walk in our door. She is currently completing a Master of Media Practice at the University of Sydney. She is a huge Jane Austen fan and loves a Sunday morning swim!
Agustina is a Physical education teacher graduated in Argentina with a certificate VI in Pilates and Yoga. She started practising rhythmic gymnastics when she was 4 years old and has been passionate about movement and expression since then. She also loves singing and dramatic arts and is currently taking acting courses.
Physiotherapist & Pilates Coordinator
Jayme graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science and Nutrition) in 2011, a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2014 and is also a qualified clinical pilates instructor. She has had the pleasure of working in various physiotherapy practices over the years in both Queensland and Sydney, which have helped to broaden her knowledge. Jayme is passionate about strength and fitness with a strong background in personal training. She regularly attends the gym and enjoys running a few times a week. This has helped to shape her physiotherapy practice with a big focus on movement and exercise-based rehabilitation.
Chrisen is a fully certified STOTT Pilates instructor, and a certified yoga and barre instructor. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his classes, having also studied a Bachelor of arts and Science majoring in anatomy and music.
Chrisen's approach to pilates is all about feeling good, feeling strong and having fun! He is known for his teaching warmth, encouragement and positivity and is passionate about keeping his classes fresh and modern.
Sophie is a certified Pilates instructor with a mindful approach to movement. By connecting the body and mind to work as one, her teaching style focuses on form and efficiency by flowing with precise movement. Her energetic and considered sequencing is tailored to suit the individual’s needs while enhancing strength, flexibility and control.
